Pinmar Supply is a distributor of many of the marine industry’s biggest brands, selling a wide range of products with the know-how to assist in buying and applying the right products for the job.

There is a comprehensive selection of marine supplies including; paints & related products, deck & bridge equipment, cleaning & maintenance, engineering, safety, interior, crew quarters, uniforms, galley, water sports and toys.

Techno Craft

Techno Craft is a pioneering company in yacht containment systems; offering high quality scaffolding construction and tenting techniques for superyachts undergoing refit, and for new builds in shipyards and marinas globally.

Designed to provide paint shed protection where sheds are not available, the tents can also be constructed on vessels in the water, allowing for a full repaint whilst still afloat, providing paint contractors and deck carpenters with safe, clean and dry environments in which to work.

Remy Millott Profile Image

Remy Millot Executive Chairman

British. Remy started his career in the yachting industry in 1982 and became captain of a 50 meter motor yacht at the tender age of just 29.

He joined Pinmar in 1996 and in 2003 he led a management buyout and became the CEO.

Under his leadership the company grew extensively and is now internationally recognised as the leading company in superyacht painting and yacht service. Remy has overseen several acquisitions and mergers along the way, including the USA, the most recent one in 2012, where along with his partners the Global Yachting Group was created, of which he is now Chairman.

Rupert Savage profile image

Rupert Savage Group CEO

British. Rupert was a highly respected yacht captain for over 16 years and is still a keen racing sailor who is often invited by owners to race on their yachts.

He moved ashore and joined Rolling Stock in 2006 and helped develop and grow the business into a leading player in the yacht painting and service sector.

A man with a meticulous mentality who runs the business on a day to day basis and has been influential in the development of the company and responsible for the smooth integration of Rolling Stock into the Global Yachting Group, of which he is now Group CEO.

Gloria Fernandez profile image

Gloria Fernandez Group CFO

Spanish. Gloria started her career in Consulting & Audit with Deloitte and developed her position as Manager in Deloitte Spain & Deloitte UK, spending several years in Scotland in Deloitte Aberdeen.

Having worked as the Rolling Stock auditor with Deloitte, she became intrigued with the yachting industry and the success of the company; looking for a new challenge Gloria joined the business in 2012 as Group CFO after completing the Joint Venture transaction, in which the Global Yachting Group was formed.

She has been instrumental in the restructuring process of the company, and her financial experience and knowledge has meant the Group has been able to grow quickly and smoothly in the past four years with a young and dynamic person supporting the business.

Peter Brown Group COO

British. Former yacht captain of an 80 meter yacht and 16 years at sea, Peter joined Pinmar in 1998 to develop the recently opened Barcelona facility and later became the General Manager of Pinmar. He headed up the expansion of Pinmar

Into the new build sector in Germany in 2005. Having a broad and deep experience in the yachting industry, Peter is able to fully understand the requirements of the captains and managers who are involved in today’s complex projects.

He then headed off to Florida and took over Pinmar USA and was responsible for the US business and its success in recent years, now back in Europe Peter is the COO of Pinmar and the Global Yachting Group using his business and organisation skills to ensure the smooth operation of the company.

Mark Conyers Director

British. Mark is a Director and the co-founder of Rolling Stock, and started his career working on large sailing yachts.

Since moving ashore in 1986 he has been in the coatings business the rest of his working life. With vast experience and technical knowledge in this sector he is well known and respected for his achievements in the industry, with a large client following.

Instrumental in the growth of the company and the quality is it renowned for today, Mark acts as a supporting role between the client and the company managers to ensure efficiency and the correct working practices are adhered to, he continues to support the general management team and acts as an ambassador and advisor to the Global Yachting Group, with several large key clients he handles personally.

Position

Sales Manager

Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for business development and customer relationship management for Global Yachting Group’s industry leading brands Pinmar and Rolling Stock. They will develop marketing qualified leads, source direct sales enquiries and secure repeat business from existing customers through the proactive management of the sales pipeline. Establishing enduring relationships with yacht captains, management companies, owner’s representatives and shipyards the sales manager will understand the customers’ requirements in order to specify GYG services. Working as a part of the commercial team and following GYG’s CRM methodology, the Sales Manager will lead the end to end sales process from project specification, through contract negotiation to successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • New business development sourcing direct sales leads through professional networking and attendance at trade shows
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Customer relationship management throughout the sales and production process
  • Conducting meetings with captains, yacht mangers and owner’s representative as well as undertaking yacht inspections to understand, record and interpret customer requirements
  • Commercial planning , pricing and quote generation
  • Deal negotiation, closing and contract documentation

  • Analysis and reporting of market and sales data using MS Office tools

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the super-yacht industry either as a mariner or supplier ideally with some technical knowledge of superyacht paint and finishing process
  • Capable of understanding and retaining technical details
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills and IT literacy
  • Outgoing and engaging personality with excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and reliability
  • Disciplined and organized approach to planning and administration

  • Verbal and written fluency in English additional European languages an advantage
